There will be spoilage of unlockable characters here. (MARIO'S IN BRAWL. ...Oh, wait.)

And so, as of 8:00 yesterday night, I finished unlocking all the characters. I will now state exactly what I think of each unlockable character and some (if not all) of the new ones, because I'm lame like that. :]

Caption Falcon: He sure is Captain Falcon - hasn't changed much, I think. I still suck with him. 8D
Falco: I want to kick the game designers for saying there wouldn't be any more clone characters. But, at least they changed around his reflector move - it's rather spiffy now.
Ganondorf: I was really looking forward to a non-clone Ganondorf. ...Oh, well. They vaguely changed the way his moves work, though. ...Vaguely. Also, I really suck as Ganondorf. (BTW, I LOVE HIS TWILIGHT PRINCESS DESIGN. I LOVE IT. IF HE WASN'T SO GOD DAMN SCARY, I'D HUG HIM FOR HOW AWESOME HE IS. ...And then Krys's caps lock broke.)
Jigglypuff: I hate Jigglypuff. That...that f***ing Rollout move...gah. Not only do I always get hit with it NO MATTER WHAT, whenever I play as Jigglypuff I end up blasting off-screen and killing myself with it. x];
Lucario: Lucario is a sexy beast. I...I want to grope him. D: Anyway, that said in an entirely not-joking fashion, I think I'm actually rather good with him. The fact that he grows more powerful as his damage increases complements my 'in the fray' tactics (if you can really call them tactics). He's like Mewtwo in Melee, who I personally loved and used often (and not just because he's Mewtwo), only he's...better. I hate his Final Smash, though. I can never hit anyone with it - it's way too slow. XD
Luigi: His voice is way better now. It makes me happy.
Marth: SO F***ING GIRLY NOW, WHAT.
Mr. Game&Watch: I hate him so much. ...I just...I hate him. I suck at using him, and I suck at fighting him. He...ugh. Just...ugh. ...His Final Smash is pretty funny...but that's his only redeeming feature. 8|
Ness: He's like Lucas, only not as cute! 8D (I very much dislike his recovery move. ...Same goes for you, Lucas. Sorry.)
R.O.B.: He's...amusing, to say the least. They could've used that particular character spot for something else (I can just imagine a friend of mine screaming 'Megaman' as I type this), but I don't have too many qualms about it. It makes more sense once you've completed the Subspace Emissary. ((shrug))
Snake: He's WAY different from the other characters. It took a while for me to get used to using him - I'm still always blowing myself up whenever I do. XD; He also makes for several amusing parts in the SSE, and in other areas. I won't go into detail, but the initial exchange between him and Lucario is hilarious. I was giggling uncontrollably.
Sonic: Before I mention anything else, I'd like to say that on Sunday, when me and my friends were brawling for hours, we unlocked Sonic by a FREAK ACCIDENT, I swear. We hadn't fulfilled any of the requirements at that point (having him join you in SSE or 300 VS matches), yet we got him right before Snake and WAY before Lucario. What's up with that? Did we run enough or something? XD; (Yeah, I'm aware that that was a really bad joke.) Anyhow...Sonic. I'm not a giant Sonic fan like some friends of mine, but I do find him pretty fun to use in battle, and he's easy to get used to (or...well...he was for me). He was also a major help in the SSE, which is F***ING HARD EVEN ON NORMAL LEVEL. ARGH. That aside, though, I like him. I might even go so far as to say I like him a lot. The reviews I've read complaining about how he's only there for the fans should go burn in review-hell.
Toon Link: TOON LINK IS A TOOL AND I HATE HIM, BECAUSE HE TOOK THREE TRIES TO UNLOCK EVEN THOUGH I'M ACTUALLY SOMEWHAT GOOD WITH THE CHARACTER I WAS USING TO UNLOCK HIM. WTF. My anger about the difficulty in unlocking him aside, Toon Link is...like Link, only adorable. And in Windwaker style, only not cel-shaded. His bombs give off the typical swirly Windwaker-smoke, though - it's awesome. x3
Wolf: He is f***ing awesome. Not because of his moveset, don't get me wrong. He's clone-like. But still, he's awesome. The way he moves, his appearance, his voice; they're all just...too cool.

Other characters...

Ike: HE IS MY MAIN (aside from the sexy beast that is Lucario). I'm actually pretty good with him, which I found surprising. I can almost hold my own when up against TIM, and he's...crazy with this game. (You do NOT want to face him in Melee when he's using Dr. Mario. YOU DO NOT.) Ike's a pretty cool character overall, too. I never use his Counter, though - I'm always too busy Aethering and Quick-Drawing the crap out of whoever gets near me. XD (Scenario - friend playing as Marth, me as Ike - I charge up Quick Draw as he approaches, he tries to use Counter, I hold back the attack until it's over and then slam him around the stage like a pinball - then, he gets up and DOES THE SAME THING OVER AGAIN - wash, rinse, repeat - THREE TIMES. I couldn't stop laughing.)
Diddy Kong: Diddy Kong is a B****, and as such, he has B**** TITS. ...Yeah, you heard me. ...Go to hell, Diddy Kong. Or get back in your racecar where you BELONG. (Scenario - friend playing as Diddy and another as Pit - Pit is right by the Smash Ball, with Diddy halfway across the stage - Diddy Kong shoots ONE PEANUT, which hits the Smash Ball by some FREAK ACCIDENT, and promptly unleashes his Final Smash and wins, which is just SO CHEAP - this brings about a 'death by peanut' phrase, and comparing other deaths to it, both of which made me giggle madly. Hmm...'death by banana' is probably possible, if your damage is high enough and it's thrown at you...)
King Dedede: I suck with him, but he's amusing anyway. Tim's really good with him, but he generally sticks with Sonic now that he's unlocked him. (He's really good with Sonic, though, too. Hell, he's good with like...every character. XD)
Lucas: HE'S ADORABLE (but I still hate his recovery move).
Olimar: ...There is just...WAY too much going on when you're fighting Olimar. There's CRAZY WAY too much going on when you're actually PLAYING as Olimar. Goodness. He's definitely interesting, though. Pretty powerful physically, from what I could tell when I had to use him in the SSE.
Pit: I...really suck with him, and die all over the place. xD Emi seems to have taken a great liking to him, though, and she's really good with him. (And Emi, if you're reading this, no, I'm not saying that just because. You really are good with him. GEEZ, stop being so egotistical!)
Meta Knight: I didn't think I could suck at using a character any worse than Pit, but Meta Knight proved me wrong. XD He's awesome, though. Then again, I've always liked him. ((shrug))
Pokemon Trainer: I like Squirtle, and I love Charizard, but I f***ing suck at using Ivysaur. DX Also, Squirtle with a Bunny Hood is the most adorable thing you could ever see. EVER.
Zero Suit Samus: Ehh. She's okay. Her recovery move confuses me sometimes, though. (It's her DOWN SPECIAL, WHAT.) Her Final Smash really sucks, too. OH NO, SHE GOT THE SMASH BALL AND IS...Oh. She's putting her Power Suit back on. ...How scary.
Sheik: Okay, she's not NEW, per se, but I like the newish design. She actually looks more female, which is...kinda what she's supposed to be anyway. Because...you know...she's ZELDA. (Yes, I am somewhat bothered by all that Link/Sheik crap where fans completely ignore that fact in favor of MAN LOVE. I don't mind man-love, but that's going a bit overboard, I think. NO, I AM NOT BEING A HYPOCRITE, SHUT UP.) Also, she seems to be slower now. It's weird after her super-speedyness in Melee.
Yoshi: I f***ing hate Yoshi. 8|


OKAY, HERE'S SOME STUFF THAT DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH BRAWL. I KNOW YOU'RE INTERESTED. I KNOW IT.


Remember this fic? Well...yeah. There's seven chapters now, and I have yet to receive any kind of constructive (or even nonconstructive) criticism. The only feedback I've gotten is from Emi. ...Speaking of which, thank you, Emi. D: ((hearts you)) Whether or not I get any feedback, though, I'm going to keep on writing it. I've been getting quite a bit of inspiration for it, and I'm even being tempted by plot bunnies to make a sequel. XD;

Also, Break still needs some temporary girlfriends. If you don't mind a non-canon sacrificing of a female character of yours, care to offer her up? (...Wow, that 'offer her up' thing sounded...terrible. o_o)

Anyway, I'm actually rather pleased with how they came out - they actually look male like they're supposed to, and they even look good when they're flipped. That NEVER happens! o_O It's not really an accurate rendition of their heights, though - I drew them separately (though still on the same piece of paper XD). Break's a good head or so above Bend. Tallish, I guess. Anyhow, there'll soon be pictures of Joy, Obsidian, Shale, and Etoile to go along with these two, and once they're all finished, I'll be posting the whole thing in my gallery. Maybe I'll try some fancy coloring on 'em or something. I dunno. Depends on my mood. 8D
